Dear Design Your Best Life Newsletter Family,  

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer! It seems to be flying by but I am
grateful for each and every day I get to spend doing the things I want. I feel so fortunate
to have such a wonderful family and time to spend with them. When thinking about all the
amazing things in my life I can’t help but feel the POWER of Gratitude.

In staying with our Law of Attraction theme I figured I would talk a little about gratitude
and the impact this can have on our lives. Feeling grateful for all that you have right now
can only bring more good into your life. For those of you who have read the e-book I
sent out in our welcome newsletter you probably remember the chapter on gratitude and
read about how it keeps you connected with power. For those who have not yet
checked out the e-book now would be a good time to read the chapter on Gratitude-
Chapter 7-it starts on page 23.

Being grateful shifts your energy which then shifts your thinking and emotions. When you
start to feel different about what you already have you will only attract more of the good
things. For example, when you wake up in the morning it is important to give thanks for
the great day that lies ahead of you. Even thought we have just started our day and have
not yet experienced what’s to come, just by emitting feelings of gratitude in advance can
help us have a better day. Giving thanks as though we have already received it sends a
powerful message to the universe.

So what are some things we can do to help bring more awareness to being grateful?

•        Make it a point to start your day with feelings of gratitude. Saying “thank you” out
loud several times can help create grateful feelings.

•        Make a list of all the things you are grateful for. Write it down and re-read it once
a day. Read it before going to bed at night and then as you wake in the morning. You’ll
be amazed how much better your day ends and begins.

•        Go for a walk and think about all that you are grateful for. Start out listing about 10
things. Everyday add something new to your list. Think of everything-living and breathing,
seeing, being able to walk and use your legs, etc.

•        Be grateful for the good things that are GOING to come to you. If you are already
practicing the law of attraction then you know how powerful thoughts and feelings can be.

When you give thanks for things that are going to come and you act as if you already
have it then this becomes your state of being. It’s a positive state and one that sends a
powerful message!

The law of attraction will receive these grateful thoughts and bring more of them back to
you. Remember to get in the practice of feeling grateful everyday-make it a habit and
expect good things-you will see positive changes in your life!
