Design Your Best Life
Hello,
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are entering the New Year as enthused as I am! I
have some exciting new changes in 2010 and I am hoping to make it my best year yet. I hope you
plan to make 2010 YOUR best year! Below are some tips that I created to help get my year started
off in the right direction.

• Have a vision. First and foremost you must visualize your year and think about how you would
feel if those visions became a reality. Take time out each day, close your eyes and visualize all the
wonderful things that you see for yourself in 2010. Be grateful for what you have and grateful for
what’s to come. Act as though you have already received it and those feelings will help attract more
of the things you want.

• Set goals. It’s important to set both short and long-term goals. Take it one step further and break
down your goals. Write down 10 steps you will take to reach your objectives. Post your goals
somewhere you can view them each day. Revisit your goals a few times a month and revaluate
when necessary. Over the course of time our circumstances may change so be sure to update to
reflect these changes.

• Plan your day. Now that you have your goals written out and posted where you can see them
every day it is vital to create your daily plan. This is a vital step in the process to break down your
actions even further to get you closer to reaching your goals. Remember to plan your day the night
before to make sure you are doing what you are suppose to be doing. When you plan your day the
night before your subconscious and unconscious mind will figure out how to make this happen
pulling out creative ideas and planning your perfect day. Please feel free to read: http://www.
thecircle.org/to-do-lists to learn more about how to plan your day.

• Re-energize. After some time of working in the same job or doing the same tasks over again we
may feel we are just going through the motions and not really thinking about or feeling what we’re
doing. If we don’t take the time to reenergize ourselves many of us can fall into this slump. Make it
a point each day to take time out for you and do something you enjoy. Whether it is as simple as
going for a walk, reading, spending quality time with your family, exercising or watching your
favorite show make sure you do it to help keep your creativity flowing.

• Be authentic. Try not to get caught up in what you’re SUPPOSE to be, do or act. Instead be true to
yourself and be real with everyone you come in contact with. Although we all have various roles to
play throughout our lives it is important we don’t become attached to those roles and act in a
specific way. Any decisions you make, conversations you engage in or discussions you have it is
vital to think and speak from an authentic place and be, do and act from the REAL you.

I hope these tips are helpful. These are the five main tips I am utilizing to get my year moving in the
right direction.
